2017 Alumni/Member Appreciation Day

DETAILS
On July 22nd Pole Vault Elite will host a Member Appreciation day.   Please RSVP HERE by July 19hish if you are coming.  This year is 10 years since club was envisioned.  In the summer of 2007, we started coaching kids from around the state wherever we could find an open pit.  In 2008, club was given the name “Pole Vault Elite”. Over the past 10 years we’ve been blessed to have 30 unique state qualifiers representing 10 different schools 39 different times, and accumulating 13 medals including  2 state runner-ups and the last 2 girls state champions. In the last 3 years, we’ve taken 14.8% of the medals for pole vault at the state meet; and in that same time have produced eight (8) of our 11 total New Balance Outdoor National Qualifiers.  It’s been a blessing to work with so many amazing kids from around the state!

We’d like to give back to you all and offer a day of appreciation in celebration of the last 10 years.

COST
Free, in fact, you will come away with at least one door prize (see list of prizes below), so you could profit from the event.  We do ask that each party attending bring a side dish to pitch in.   You can RSVP HERE so that we can get a count out of the number of people attending.

Kennedy Drish placed 3rd at this years New Balance Outdoor Nationals meet held on June 15-17 in Greensboro North Carolina.  Full results are posted on our meets page.   Kennedy cleared 11’10” on her first attempt and tied another young lady for 3rd place.   She had very good attempts at a new PR of 12’2″ but was unable to successfully navigate the bar without knocking it off the pegs.   Kennedy finished her Sophomore year (first year vaulting) with a PR of 12’0″, was County, Sectional, and State Champion.   This young lady has a bright future.  Congrats goes to Kennedy and all of our members on their success this year.   Click “Continue Reading” below for the image gallery of this meet.

Get Registered on Friday (5/26)

On Friday afternoon, 2017 Pole Vault Elite Club Registration will open. You will be able to register by going to http://www.polevaultelite.com and click on Club then Club Registration.

The process will be multi step, so please read the process on the website carefully. Athletes under 18 will need to have a parent register for them, in order to sign the waivers and membership agreements online. Once you have your membership purchased you’ll need to sign up for one of the “New Membership Orientations”. This needs to be scheduled before your first practice. You will need to purchase practice pack in order to schedule practices. Members will have access to the “Member Practices” that you will need to reserve your spot for on a first come first serve basis by going to the calendar, clicking on the Members Practice you would like to reserve, and then clicking Reserve. You’ll want to make sure that you have the correct individual (the athlete not the guardian) selected from the dropdown list on that page.

Keep checking on Friday for when we open registration. I will also tweet when I open it, so follow @polevaultelite on twitter.
