January 29th – One Pit – First flight at 10am (warmups 1 hour before)
Spectators, Seating, Temperature:
We’ve been able to get the temperatures into the high 50’s / low 60’s this past week while the outside temps were in the teens. We anticipate this and possibly warmer with more bodies tomorrow. Some of our athletes have said their feet get cold, so you may want to be prepare to address that. We have a half dozen chairs for seating, so it’s recommended you bring a chair. Many of our parents bring a blanket/throw to use while waiting. I typically wear a hoodie and jeans and am very comfortable.
If you compete in this meet it means you signed a waiver and you shouldn’t need to sign a wavier again in 2022. Thank you for taking care of that for us. If you have not signed the waiver, you can do so at: https://my.rhinofit.ca/rhinosign/8b5ca734
We ask that all the visitors pole bags be stored on the Blue/Grey pit to help keep the other space open for spectators. PVE poles will be on the opposite end in the pole rack.
