From Pole Vault Elite
We expect every member to complete ALL the To-Do’s.
Poles: Pole Vault Elite coaches will transport poles to this meet (part of your PVE Fees). We expect all athletes to confirm they do not need to unload or load poles on vehicles before leaving.
Coaches do not plan to carry pole bags into or out of the facility. Coaches should not have to ask any athletes for help, athletes should be asking the coaches. EVERY athlete should plan to be available to help with one direction (in or out) and some athletes may need to do both.. There are 4-5 pole bags. If coaches are stuck moving bags, athletes will need to bring their own poles (you can rent them and bring those).
Apparel: All athletes should wear the official team uniform and solid black bottoms.

State Fair “Over The Top” Street Vault 2025, Friday, August 1st and Saturday, August 2nd, 2025
* THE RUNWAY / PIT LOCATION:Will be on the north side of the fairgrounds off of 42nd Street – Enter through Gate-3.
LOCATION: The location will be different from last year – we will be close to the Normandy Barn (East of the Farm Bureau Building).We will be set-up near the red circle on the attached state fair map. (See map below)
PARKING: It would be best to park in the Deaf School Parking Lot (off of 42nd Street) and enter through Gate-3. Once you get through the gate, we will be on your left-hand side near the Normandy Barn.
SPECTATOR: If you bring a tent, you will be required to have 40lb weights on the legs of the tent.
ATHLETES: All competitors will need to sign a waiver when checking in. Those under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign. (See waiver section above)
SCHEDULE: Saturday, August 2nd – Runway opens at 8:30AM, with vaulting will start at 9:30AM. There will be 3 Groups – please see the attached PDF for Groups and Estimated Start Times. Please remember that these times are approximate. Please arrive early to ensure you are ready to go.
